Santorini
I'm slowly chipping away at some ideas for how to paint urban scenes. Here's my latest crack at painting a glimpse of the town of Oia on the island of Santorini in Greece. Measures 43"x43". It's a follow up to an approach I took on a painting glimpses of San Francisco and that I hope to apply to more interesting snippets of urbanity in the future. Here are the SF paintings:

I'm still working out some Poly Canyon ideas. Here are a couple of smaller pieces based on a view of Poly Canyon that I've been playing around with for a little while now. Each measures approx. 30"x40".

Afternoon in Valdarno
I must have run by this little reservoir a hundred times while living in Italy. I've painted it only a handful of times. This latest measures about 38" x 53" and will be available soon through The Vault Gallery in Cambria, CA.

Winter in Dalarna
We're getting close to Midsummer here in Sweden with temperatures reaching into the 80's some days. Quite a contrast to this winter scene that I started some months ago when things were still frozen. This one measures about 100cm x 150cm and will be available a little later this summer. Please contact me for more info.

Our Trip to Italy
We spent a great eight days in Italy at Casa Cares, the center where I used to work, where I met my wife, Caroline, and where I started to paint. You can see a few pictures from our trip here.
